Dr Jessie Huang is an Australian-trained medical practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience. She brings a thoughtful, holistic approach to aesthetic medicine, combining medical knowledge with an appreciation for the artistry required to achieve natural, balanced results.

Her approach centres on understanding the whole patient—not just the treatment area. By considering overall health, lifestyle, and individual goals, Dr Huang works with patients to develop personalised treatment plans that support both appearance and long-term well-being. She is passionate about ensuring patients feel informed, confident, and comfortable in every step of their treatment journey.

Dr Huang has attained a fellowship with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM – medical pathway), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and ethical practice in cosmetic medicine.

Alongside her work in aesthetic medicine, Dr Huang has a strong interest in women’s health and menopause care. As a member of the Australasian Menopause Society (AMS), she offers menopause consultations that support women through hormonal transition with evidence-based guidance and personalised care. She does not currently offer menopause consultations at Pearl.

Anna is a dynamic manager with over 6 years of experience in the beauty industry. With a passion for aesthetics and a keen eye for trends, she has successfully led teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and innovative beauty solutions.

Anna began her career as a beauty therapist before transitioning into management, where she honed her team leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills. Her commitment to fostering a positive work environment empowers team members to thrive and exceed client expectations. Anna is a graduate of the French beauty academy with a dual diploma. Anna stays at the forefront of industry trends and continuously seeks professional development opportunities.

Outside of Pearl, Anna enjoys exploring beautiful new beaches, chasing sunsets and sunrises, and enjoying quality family time.

Dr Jo started Pearl Medispa (formerly Skin Revision) in 2006 to provide North Brisbane with a quality cosmetic medicine clinic. What motivated her initial move into cosmetic medicine was the wrinkles that started to appear on her face. “There has got to be something done about this”! What began as a personal quest became her best career move.

In 2021, she rebranded and renamed Pearl Medispa, integrating a holistic approach with traditional cosmetic medicine. This grew out of the science and knowledge that had emerged over the 15 years. The understanding that inner health determined many facets of cosmetic medicine, including inflammatory skin conditions, aging, and weight management, meant that to do their job honestly, the business had to change. Pearl is a traditional symbol of beauty and wisdom and an ancient Chinese beauty adaptogen. So, it represented the integration of holistic health. Dr Jo works mainly online on the marketing and management aspects of operations. However, she still loves coming in and catching up with clients, some of whom have been Skin Revision and the Pearl family since the first year! 

Dr Jo trains in kickboxing and has attended several Muay Thai camps in Thailand. Her favourite vacation is travelling, especially to Cambodia, with her biggest love – her two granddaughters!
