Tixel uses a diamond-patterned titanium tip to deliver pure heat to the skin’s surface. It is often chosen for delicate areas — eyelids, crow’s feet, under-eyes and lip lines — and can also be used on the face, neck, décolletage, hands and body.
A heated titanium plate is briefly stamped onto the skin, creating a controlled healing response. Treatment is typically comfortable, with a considered recovery. It can be used over the eyelid, up to the lash line, and around the mouth. Tixel can also be paired with Rejuran boosters, so polynucleotides are delivered through the microchannels created during treatment.

How Tixel Works

Tixel with Rejuran Boosters
Tixel is both a tightening treatment and a delivery system. After the heat is applied, we can infuse Rejuran — polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA — through the microchannels. This pairing is often chosen when the focus is skin quality, redness, pigmentation, scarring or regeneration, as well as tightening. Suitability is assessed at consultation.
Why Tixel Is So Versatile

Tixel Around the Eyes
This is where Tixel has found its niche. The eyelid can be treated up to the eyelashes, without eye shields. It may assist the look of upper eyelid laxity, crow’s feet, under-eye wrinkles, malar festoons and under-eye bags — and some clients also notice improved comfort with dry eyes.
Tixel for Lip Lines
Upper lip lines — also called perioral wrinkles or smoker’s lines — sit in thin, constantly moving skin. Tixel is well suited to this area: pure heat, used in different modes, to support collagen and soften the look of lines around the mouth.
Lines here can come from movement, volume loss, smoking, menopause and changes in skin quality. Tixel addresses the skin itself. Where structure or movement is also involved, our doctors may discuss PDO threads, volume or wrinkle treatment as a complement.

Combining Treatments
Tixel can sit alongside other care when it is appropriate. Neck lines, for example, may be supported with Tixel plus dermal filler. Lip lines may be planned with Tixel plus threads, volume or wrinkle treatment. Rejuran can be infused in the same Tixel appointment. Your consultation maps what belongs together — and what should wait.
Preparing for Treatment
As a heat-based treatment, Tixel carries a risk of post-treatment pigmentation change — particularly for darker skin tones, which are more prone to this response. For clients with darker or more melanin-rich skin, we often recommend a short course of a topical melanin inhibitor (such as a prescribed brightening or tyrosinase-inhibiting cream) in the weeks before treatment, to help lower this risk.
Your skin tone and history are assessed at your complimentary consultation, and any pre-treatment prep is planned from there — this isn’t needed for every client, and settings are also adjusted accordingly.
Treatment & Recovery
A typical course is three sessions, six weeks apart. More sun-damaged skin may need four to six. Maintenance is usually once a year.
