What to Expect

Results vary. Some clients notice a gradual improvement after treatment, with collagen remodelling continuing over several weeks. A course is often more effective than a single session. Maintenance is discussed at consultation, based on your skin and goals.

Adults concerned with fine lines, acne scarring, uneven texture, enlarged pores or pigmentation. Most skin types can be considered — suitability is always confirmed in person.

It may not be suitable if you are pregnant, have an active skin infection, or certain inflammatory skin conditions. Your therapist will review this before treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does skin needling hurt?
Most clients describe a mild prickling or vibrating sensation. Settings are adjusted to your comfort, and numbing cream can be used if preferred.
Is there downtime?
Mild redness and tightness, similar to light sunburn, is common for 24–48 hours. Most people return to usual activities the next day. Makeup is typically fine after 24 hours.
How often can I have it?
A series is often spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance is then planned around how your skin responds.
How do I know if it is right for me?
Start with a complimentary consultation. Taylor will review your skin and recommend hyaluronic acid, vitamin A or Rejuran — or another treatment if needling is not the best fit.
What should I do before and after?
Pause retinoids and strong acids for several days beforehand. Afterwards, keep the skin clean, moisturised and well protected from the sun. Full pre- and post-care is provided at your appointment.
What are the contraindications?
Active infection, open wounds, certain inflammatory conditions, pregnancy, and recent isotretinoin use are common reasons to delay or avoid treatment. This is checked at consultation.
